Focus Pro - Web Module

The Focus web module has been developed using PHP and runs under either IIS, Apache Server and on a PDA or iPhone via the relevant web browser. It enables certain operations of the Focus software to be carried out via a web browser. The module allows an employee who is using Focus to sign in using a previously assigned pin number and password. These include:

• Individual User Login
• Clocking In/Out of Work
• Viewing the Timesheet
• Viewing the Absence Calendar
• Submitting Absence requests that can be subsequently granted or refused by an administrator of the main Focus Pro software

Individual User Login

Each user logins to the web module with individual PIN and Password. These have previously been setup within the Focus Pro software via an administrator. This will then allow them to carry out PC based clockings.

Clocking In/Out of Work

Once logged in to the web module, users can then clock in or out simply by clicking on a button. This page will also display the current status and last date and time of a submitted transaction.

Viewing the Timesheet

From the Timesheet section, users can view their worked hours, absences and holidays in the form of a weekly grid.

The date to be displayed can be selected from a drop down calendar and will display the contents of the Focus Pro database.

Viewing the Calendar

The Calendar section shows a yearly view of any holiday or absences. Absences are colour coded and show up on the calendar as per the key. An absence can also be requested from here by the user. This will be added to the calendar and request will be added to the main Focus Pro software for an administrator to deal with as they see fit.
