Compact - Stand Alone Access Solution
An ideal standalone access solution for internal (low security) doors. The system has an integrated controller and reader, which are quick and easy to install. It is then just a case of connecting it to a power supply and lock. Administration of the system is easy using Card or fob packs. Compact systems are available in proximity, magstripe and keypad variants, and are ideal for smaller sites.

A Typical Compact Stand-alone Solution
| The diagram shows a reception area and office with the door secured by a proximity compact system to prevent unwanted access. Compact systems are combined readers and control units and so are ideally suited to controlling access on this type of low security door. The all in one construction makes for a very simple and quick installation. |  |

Cards or keyfobs are supplied in packs. User cards or fobs are valid and ready for use as soon as installation is complete. Every card or fob is supplied with a corresponding shadow card. As they are issued, the name of the user is marked on the shadow card. If someone is to be removed or loses thier card, the shadow card marked with that persons name is presented to all readers on site. This action invalidates the card or fob. Another card or fob may then be issued for that user. |
