Built for the post‑pandemic workplace, BioStation 3 offers multiple contactless authentication methods, including facial recognition, RFID card, QR and barcode, and mobile credentials for fast, hygienic clocking.
The terminal is 47% smaller than Suprema’s previous bestselling facial recognition terminal, the FaceStation F2, yet is packed with features that make it ideal for organisations ranging from small businesses to large enterprises. Its compact design helps reduce congestion at busy clocking points, even where space is limited.
The BioStation 3 is both IP65 and IK06 rated and is suitable for indoor and outdoor environments. Its slimline design, straightforward installation and simple feature updates give you the flexibility to deploy it wherever you need reliable, controlled employee identification and time capture.
The terminal accurately and rapidly recognises faces in high‑traffic areas and, unlike previous terminals, only requires one face to be enrolled per user. Thanks to its advanced in‑built AI, matching performance is maintained even when users are wearing masks, glasses, hats, beards or different hairstyles, helping to keep shift changes and peak clocking periods running smoothly.
The BioStation 3 has been thoroughly tested and is ISO/IEC 27001 certified to protect privacy and biometric data. The terminal has also been designed to comply with GDPR, supporting secure, compliant management of employee time & attendance data.
