Egress Systems offer two hardware support options for all terminals that we supply: on-site hardware support and a courier swap-out service.
On-site Hardware Support
One of our dedicated team of experienced engineers will visit your site to diagnose, fix or replace a faulty terminal. All of our team are trained in environmental, health and safety concerns and hold ECS (Electrotechnical Certification Scheme) cards in security system installation. We support all terminal types that we supply and hardware support contracts are purchased on an annual basis. Alternatively, pay-as-you-go on-site visits can be requested when you need them.
Courier Swap-out Support
A more cost-effective service than on-site hardware support is our courier swap-out service which provides you with a replacement terminal via next-day courier when your terminal develops a fault. All you need to do is return the faulty terminal to us and fit the replacement terminal in it’s place. So, it’s effectively like an insurance policy for your terminal but with quick and easy replacement – we even configure your replacement terminal with your IP details and settings so you don’t have to.
And of course, not all hardware issues require a terminal replacement. Often our team can resolve your issues over the telephone by offering you advice and remedial courses of action.
