Suprema BioEntry W2 Fingerprint Terminal

Specifically designed for access control in all weather conditions, the BioEntry W2 is suitable for internal or external applications with its IP67 rated casing for water and dust ingress protection.

Because it’s from Suprema the BioEntry W2 boast outstanding fingerprint recognition technology. Incorporating fake fingerprint recognition, the reader using both infra-red and white light to determine the qualities of the fingerprint being presented to outfox criminal intent. This makes it highly desirable for high-security installations on the main entrances to your business where you need confidence in performance.

The BioEntry W2 is built to IK09 standards for high vandal resistance – preventing breakage when hit with up to 10 joules of force.

The rugged, robust nature of the BioEntry W2 means that it does not incorporate a keypad or screen. Consequently, fingerprint enrolment is achieved via Suprema’s BioStar 2 software on the BioEntry W2 device, on other terminals within the range or on a BioMini USB fingerprint reader which is then transferred to the BioEntry W2. Biometric fingerprint information can be enrolled directly onto an RFID card or fob, thereby eliminating any biometric information being held in the terminal or in a database. This can be a suitable solution where GDPR concerns run high.

A variety of verification options can be configured to suit the needs of your business including fingerprint only or finger pin. The BioEntry W2 also boast an enormous capacity, storing up to 500,000 fingerprints (with two templates per finger) and up to 1 million text logs.

The BioEntry W2 supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) making it suitable for awkward installations where running power cables is costly and time-consuming.
